little tykes preschool is a top-of-the-line preschool. sending your children here will prepare them for the trials of kindergarten and their school years to come. it isn't all intense learning, though. shapes and numbers are combined with snack and nap times throughout the day.

a family neighborhood, the houses located on fairview street are moderately sized and perfect for a growing family. the lawns aren't exactly messy, but a passerby is more likely to see a toy or two out on the front lawn of these streets than anywhere else.

avalon is known for its educational system, and that starts at the roots. children attending any grade kindergarten through eighth grade will attend avalon's primary school and get the best education that these educators can give.

it's hard to imagine avalon without the united methodist church, its spire riding up from the leafy streets of fairview, calling people to it on warm or wet sunday mornings. sometimes you just don't want to imagine life without it. with kenneth aldridge leading his flock, and open every day of the week to bingo games and church groups of all shapes and sizes, this is a safe place. drop in... it's good for your soul.

located directly across the street from avalon's primary school is a park with a playground perfect for young children. perfect for every season (except winter, of course), the playground has swings, sand boxes, slides, and everything else the childrens' little hearts could desire.

a quaint little bookstore, once upon a time is the best place to buy used books in pristine condition. the owners have gone to great lengths to make the inside nice and cozy, including several old, comfy chairs scattered throughout the store. a pot of coffee and a kettle of tea are always brewing to make the customers that much more at home.

if you don't know what target is, please get out from under the rock that you're living under and find the nearest one. if you live in the united states, it's probably within ten miles of your house.
